LOGIN
- Open the Internet Banking Portal / Home Page by using the link below: https://onlinebanking.citizensbankgy.com/DIBS_CITIZENS_BANK/pages/index.jsp#!
- Select the preferred Language to translate to from the drop-down, then press the ‘Translate’ button to submit.

- Select ‘Personal Internet’

- Once the ‘Personal Internet’ button is selected, the ‘Online Banking – Individual’ screen below will appear.
- Populate the ‘Username’ field by entering the username provided by Citizens Bank Inc. (This is the Personal User ID created by CBGI, Maximum of 10 Characters).
- Press the ‘Next’ button to submit.

- The ‘Password’ screen below will appear.
- Populate the ‘Password’ field by entering the Temporary Password sent via email from mail@citizensbankgy.com. Sample shown below.

- The ‘Welcome to CITIZENS BANK GUYANA Internet Banking’ screen will appear. The User is prompted to change the current email password.
- ‘Change of Password’ – follow the steps outlined below to change the password:
- Old Password – enter the default password that was sent via email from mail@citizensbankgy.com. (Click on the eye to view the password).
- New Password – enter the new password that is in keeping with the password rules displayed on the screen.
- Confirm Password – re-enter the password, which will match the ‘New Password’.
- Rules – guidelines for creating the New Password.
- Compliant – indication that the new password is in keeping with the password rules. Once the password rules have been satisfied, the ‘green tick’ will appear. (See image below).

- Once the ‘Continue’ button is selected, the notice below will appear.

- Once the ‘Continue’ button is selected, the ‘Online Banking – Individual’ screen below will appear.

1. | Username – Input the Username. This is the Personal User ID created by CBGI (Maximum of 10 Characters) |
2. | Press the ‘Next’ button to submit. |
- The ‘Password’ screen below will appear.
- Enter the password that was previously set
- Press the ‘Forgot your password’ button to access your User Profile if your password has been forgotten.
- Press the ‘Back’ button to cancel.
- Press the ‘Next’ button to submit.
- The ‘Password’ screen below will appear.

- The screen below will appear, close the ‘Translate page from Spanish?’ pop-up box

- Select an Anti-Phishing Image from the options provided, then press the ‘Accept’ button to submit. The Anti-Phishing Image prevents or remediates phishing attacks.

Personalized Image Solution for Anti-phishing
The personalized image is the use of an image selected by the User to distinguish Citizens Bank Website from a Malicious/ Phishing Websites. Since the personalized image set by the User is the information only the User can know. It can be hard to secure that information or implement it in the same form on phishing sites. Therefore, it helps Users prevent phishing damage.
Citizens Bank Token App
Instructions on how download the ‘Citizens Bank Token’ App:

1. | The Notice ‘You do not have a CITIZENS BANK Token registered, if you wish to register a new one, press the ‘Accept’ button. |
2. | The Notice ‘Before continuing it is important that you have downloaded your CITIZENS BANK Token App, if you have not done so, follow these steps:’ |
3. | Step 1: Go to your phone APP Store and search for ‘CITIZENS BANK Token’. (See image below). |
4. | Step 2: Download and Install the CITIZENS BANK Token APP. |
5. | Step 3: Press the ‘Accept’ button. |
6. | The Note: (This APP is available for Android and Apple.) |
7. | ‘Accept’ button to continue. |

- The screen below will appear. Follow the instructions shown below:

- Open the Citizens Bank Token App and select ‘New User’

- The screen below will appear, follow the steps below:
- Enter your Username that was provided by Citizens Bank Inc in the ‘User’ (This is the Personal User ID created by CBGI, Maximum of 10 Characters).
- ‘Enter Code A’ – Enter the code in the ‘Code A’ field on the Token App.
- ‘Enter Code B’ – Enter the code in the ‘Code B’ field on the Token App.
- Press Accept.

- An alert message will pop up, enter the number displayed in the ‘Please enter the code displayed in your phone:’ field then press ‘OK’.

- The screen below will be displayed, select your username and press ‘Generate OTP’.

- Enter the OPT displayed on the screen in the ‘Generate an OPT and Enter here’ field then press ‘Accept’. (A new OPT code will be generated every 30 seconds).

- The screen below will be displayed, an email will be sent to confirm that the process has been completed and the Token App has been activated. (Sample shown below).
- Select ‘Continue’ to login into your account.


The setup process has been completed.
The login steps are as follows:
- The screen below will be displayed, select ‘Personal Internet’ to login or use the link provided. https://onlinebanking.citizensbankgy.com/DIBS_CITIZENS_BANK/pages/index.jsp#!

- Enter your Username then press

- The screen below will be displayed. Follow the instructions outlined below.

Password – Enter your password.

Ensure that the Anti-Phishing image displayed is the same as the image selected during the setup process.

Back – Press back to return to the previous page.

Forgot your password (see steps on page 15)

Select ‘Next’ to continue
- Open the Citizens Bank Token App:
- Select your Username
- Select Generate OPT
- Enter the code generated in the field as shown below
- Press ‘Continue’ to submit.
- Open the Citizens Bank Token App:

- The Online Banking Home Page will be displayed, as shown below.

The steps to reset your password are as follows:
- Select the ‘Forgot your password?’

- The screen below will appear,
- Open the Citizens Bank Token App and select your username
- Select the ‘Generate OPT’ option
- Enter the code displayed on the App in the OTP field highlighted below

- The screen below will be displayed, follow the instructions below to set your New Password:
- Create a New Password
- Re-enter the same password
- Ensure that the password complies with all the ‘Rules’ displayed
- ‘Compliant’ – all the ticks must be green for the password to be accepted
